SWISS ARMY M1943 OFFICER DAGGER WITH SCABBARD, PORTEPEE & ORIGINAL STORAGE BOX

Description

This is in excellent condition Swiss M1943 Dagger with officer portepee made by Elsener Schwyz.  First issued in 1943. Ricasso is stamped " Elsener Schwyz Victoria ". Reverse ricasso is numbered 216828. Blade & grips are in overall excellent condition.  Steel scabbard retains 99.99% original black paint, excellent condition, appears as never taken out of wood covered in leatherette case
.  The blade itself is covered in a protective grease that I will not remove
, it is meant to protect the blade for long periods in storage
(you can see this in the pictures), the steal blade
itself is too
in excellent condition as well.
The hard case has some of the leatherette covering peeling at one corner.
