    Description

    HIGH QUALITY MEDAL
    1939 NEW YORKS WORLD'S FAIR -
BRONZE MEDAL IN SUPPORT OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA
    - AFTER ITS ANNEXATION BY THE NAZIS
    - High Quality example of this interesting and poignant medal.
After the betrayal of the Munich Pact, Winston Churchill put it to Chamberlain:
    “You were given the
    choice
    between
    war
and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have
    war."
This medal is in great quality, made by the Medallic Art Company, or MACO as some call it.  Maker's Mark on the edge of the medal.
Many examples of this medal have some sort of defect.  This is one of the better ones that I have seen.  I have sold about 75 of these medals over the years.  This is one of the best.
