This wonderful OLD book is a great addition to any dog collector’s treasures.  Written by William Lewis Judy, who was the editor of Dog World Magazine.
First Edition, published in 1925.   The author called it “A complete Reference Work on Dogs.   It starts with the Afghan Hound and ends with the Yorkshire Terrier.  184 pages, Lots of Black and White photos of dogs.  Describes the breeds conformation and temperament.
Also has amusing timely dog advice.  For example on House Manners:  A dog is a native of the woods and fields and being of the lower animals, is not always mindful of the etiquette of modern society”… (pg. 87)
Hardback.  184 pages.  6 by 9 inches.  Cover is a little frayed at bottom.  Some foxing on the pages, but no additional markings.  Not too bad for 90+ years of age!
