WWII Model 1929 Bulgaria Bulgarian Dagger Pilot/Flyer Ersatz Version. This is an aluminum casting which perfectly matches the regular issue dagger. It is a SOLID piece-it does NOT remove from scabbard - it is all one piece. Some say this is an ersatz version of late war; others say it is a flying cadet dagger before the wings were awarded. See 3rd pic below of this specific item on Bulgarian dagger book(printed in Bulgaria). Surface colors are black and gold.
