This backing pad is made to fit your polishing disc perfectly. With a thick medium density rubber pad, in addition of a strong hook and loop face attachment. This pad also has a metal layer to the base of the pad which is designed to strengthen the pad and deter the screw threads pearcing the pad upon attachment to the base of the machine. The pad is made to a very high standard and will be a perfect match for your Makita machine.
